Labadieville, LA – Authorities in Assumption Parish have arrested and charged 22-year-old Ricky Williams of 221 Oak Street, Labadieville, with felony sex offenses connected to an incident from September 2021.
On September 22nd, the Sheriff’s Office received a complaint from a local school concerning an adult impregnating a child under the age of 15. Detectives launched an investigation and identified Ricky Williams as the suspect.
As part of their inquiry, investigators collected scientific evidence that underwent forensic examination. The findings were given to the Sheriff’s Office in August 2023. Consequently, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Williams.
Ricky Williams was arrested in Labadieville on Monday and detained at the Assumption Parish Detention Center. He faces charges of Felony Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile and is currently awaiting a bond hearing.
