Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 20, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home 715 Sixth St. Morgan City, LA 70380. Burial will be follow in the New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Patterson, LA.
Jeffrey Watts, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025.
Born March 19, 1986, Jeffrey was the loving father of two daughters, Dezyrea Watts and JaReeyon Short.
He was a devoted uncle to NyJarika Watts, Keyana Johnson, Eddie Watts, NyJanae Watts, K’eariel Johnson, DaQuan Watts, Nisaiah Bennett, Jonathan Sargent, Namon Bennett Jr., Aaliyah Watts, Jakyri Johnson, and a host of great nieces and nephews.
He had a love for fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycles. He also loved gathering with family to cook and enjoy laughter.
Jeffrey was very definition of compassion, caring, generous, and always willing to help others. He had a heart big enough for everyone and would gladly give you the shirt off his back. His absence leaves a void in the lives of his family and friends that cannot be filled. Jeffrey will be remembered for his kindness, strength, and unwavering love for those around him. His legacy will live on in the lives he touched, and he will be deeply missed by his daughters and all who knew and loved him.
Mr. Jeffery is survived by his father, Adam Berrow, Jr.; daughters, Dezyrea Watts and JaReeyon Short; brothers, Adam Berrow of Atlanta, Georgia, Namon Bennett, of Franklin, Louisiana, Eddie Johnson, Adam Watts, Jack Johnson, and Travon Berrow all of Gibson, Louisiana; sisters, Jennifer Watts, Lily Bennett of Morgan City, Louisiana, and Ashanti Berrow of Gibson, Louisiana.
Preceded in death by his mother, Mahaley Bennett, Two grandmother’s, Annie Bell Bennett and Lillie Berrow, and one stepmother, Edith Berrow.
