Jared Cowart, age 37, departed from this world on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, in the comfort of his residence in Jeanerette, Louisiana. A man of generosity, Jared was always eager to extend a helping hand to those in need.
A gathering of friends and family will be held in Jared’s honor on Thursday November 2, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin, Louisiana. Visitation will continue the following day from 10:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM. Pastor Adams of Calvary Church will officiate the service.
As the proud owner of his own electrical business, Jared’s skilled craftsmanship and unwavering dedication earned him the admiration of colleagues and employees alike. His versatility knew no bounds; equally adept at mechanics, plumbing, and carpentry, he was a true master of his trade.
Above all, Jared’s heart belonged to his cherished children, Aryanna, Nevaeh, Elizabeth, and Boss Michael. His paternal love was limitless, leaving a permanent mark on their lives. A testament to his exceptional character, Jared was not only a provider, but a mentor and confidante, guiding his children with wisdom and love.
Jared’s legacy as a remarkable father extended beyond his immediate family. His influence resonated throughout his extended family and among a wide circle of friends, all of whom held him in the highest regard. His parents, Anatole Derouen and Sheila “Ann” Smith, find solace in the enduring memory of their beloved son.
In the embrace of eternity, Jared is reunited with his late father, James Cowart. Their spirits find solace in each other’s company, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever be held close to the hearts of those who knew and loved them.
