The Morgan City Police Department is continuing its investigation into the disappearance of a runaway juvenile, Margret Ryan, a 16-year-old female who was last seen on February 23, 2026, at approximately 11:00 p.m. in the Garber Street area of Morgan City.
Investigators now believe Margret may currently be in the New Iberia, Louisiana area. Authorities also say information gathered during the investigation suggests she may have altered her appearance in an attempt to avoid being recognized or located by law enforcement.
At this time, investigators are unsure what clothing she may currently be wearing, but they believe her hair may now be blonde.

Morgan City Police say the investigation remains active as detectives continue to follow up on leads.
