Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office Seizes 6.5 Pounds of Marijuana in Bust

The Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office Special Investigation Unit recently conducted a successful operation. After thorough investigation, a traffic stop and search warrant were executed at a residence on Grand Pre Boulevard.

During the search, the Sheriff’s Office Unit discovered and seized approximately 6.5 pounds of marijuana, along with various THC products, drug paraphernalia, and $1,000 in US currency.

As a result of this operation, Armon Lancelin, a 21-year-old male, was arrested and now faces multiple charges including possession with intent to distribute Schedule I substances, possession of Schedule II substances, possession of a controlled substance in the presence of a juvenile, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of funds derived from drug transactions.

Armon Lancelin was booked into the Iberia Parish Jail, with a set bond amount of $55,000.00.
