Authorities say Keeland Cheramie, 46, of Grand Isle, is currently wanted following an investigation conducted by the Grand Isle Police Department that resulted in an arrest warrant being issued. Officials report Cheramie is believed to be living in the Thibodaux area.

According to police, Cheramie is wanted on the following charges:

Law enforcement officials are urging anyone who may know Cheramie’s whereabouts or who may see him to immediately contact the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office or the Grand Isle Police Department.

Chief Hernandez also reminded the public that knowingly harboring, assisting, or providing aid to a fugitive can result in criminal charges.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact local authorities.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
