The Friends of Patterson, a community organization dedicated to supporting the city of Patterson, will be hosting a Thanksgiving social for senior citizens next week. The event, which will take place on Tuesday, November 26 at the Patterson Civic Center starting at 5:30pm, aims to bring together senior citizens from across the area for an evening of celebration and gratitude.
“We will be sure to have enough food. So every senior citizen is welcome, welcome, welcome,” said Allise Salazar, president of the Friends of Patterson. “We have an overflow. Donations came in from the east, the west, north, the south.”
The Thanksgiving social will feature a wide range of activities, including singing and performances by students from Patterson High School. The menu will include turkey, ham, rice dressing, green beans, potato salad, spaghetti and cheese, pasta salad, and a vast array of desserts. Guests will also have the opportunity to win prizes.
“Don’t worry about if we’re going to run out. Just come. Our event will not be complete until we have you, you and you there. “If we should run out, we’ll have Domino’s”
All senior citizens aged 50 and above are invited to attend the Thanksgiving social, regardless of their city of residence. The Friends of Patterson encourage everyone to join in the celebration and take part in this special community event.
