FRANKLIN, La. (February 10, 2026) — The Franklin Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a November 9, 2025 investigation involving reported gunshots in the area of Tenth Street.

Authorities say Tyron Lamar Charles is wanted on the following charges:
Five counts of Attempted First Degree Murder
Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property
Illegal Use of Weapons or Dangerous Instrumentalities

The charges stem from an incident in which officers responded to calls reporting gunfire in the Tenth Street area. Further details about the case have not been released as the investigation remains active.
