The Franklin Police Department responded to 17 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Juvenile was arrested on June 1, 2024, at 2:03 PM, on the charges of driver must be licensed and simple assault.

Cedric Sillmon, 32, of Pelican Court, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on June 1, 2024, at 9:52 PM, on a warrant for Bexar County Sheriff’s Office for failure to stop and render aid. Sillmon was booked, processed, and held on a $50,000.00 bond.
Mai Francis, 24, of Lee St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 2, 2024, at 12:35 AM, on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana. Francis was booked, processed, and released on a $2,000.00 bond.
Morris Madison, 55, of Sawgrass Dr., LaPlace, LA, was arrested on June 2, 2024, at 4:04 AM, on the charge of resisting an officer. Madison was booked, processed, and held on a $2,500.00 bond.
Aeril Darby, 28, of Seventh St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 2, 2024, at 3:35 PM, on the charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. Darby was booked, processed, and released on a $1,000.00 bond.
Tia’Asia Williams, 23, of Easy St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 2, 2024, at 4:00 PM, on the charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. Williams was booked, processed, and released on a $500.00 bond.
