Franklin Canal Floodgate to Remain Closed Until Monday

The Franklin Canal Floodgate will remain closed until Monday, September 16th.

For it to reopen, the water levels on both sides must be equal. At present, the water on the Franklin side is at minus 2 feet, while the water on the opposite side that received a minimal surge is at 3 feet. We appreciate your patience as we work to restore normalcy following Hurricane Francine.
