The Franklin Police Department responded to 12 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Preston Lewis, 30, of Jacob St., Napoleonville, LA, was arrested on August 2, 2024, at 11:41 AM, on the charges of stop sign and driving under suspension. Lewis was booked, processed, and released on a $399.00 bond.
Jon Ireland, 39, of Antigo Alley, Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 3, 2024, at 12:10 PM, on two (2) warrants dated July 24, 2024, for theft – 2nd offense. Ireland was booked, processed, and held on a $10,000.00 bond.
Dylan Dwyer, 25, of Life House St., St. James, LA, was arrested on August 4, 2024, at 12:23 AM, on the charges of speeding, possession of schedule I narcotics, and possession of schedule II narcotics – 3 counts. Dwyer was booked, processed, and held on a $7,250.00 bond.
Michelle Brown, 52, of Eighth St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 4, 2024, at 3:58 AM, on a warrant dated July 17, 2024, for simple battery of the infirm. Brown was booked, processed, and held on a $7,500.00 bond.
Tyler LeBlanc, 23, of LaGrange Robicheaux Rd., Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 4, 2024, at 2:01 PM, on a warrant dated July 27, 2024, for theft by shoplifting – 5 counts. LeBlanc was booked, processed, and released on a $7,500.00 bond.
