The Franklin Police Department responded to 32 complaints over the past holiday weekend and made the following arrests:
Amanda Rudolph, 35, of South Patout St., New Iberia, LA, was arrested on June 16, 2023, at 9:25 PM, on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court Iberia Parish for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle while license is suspended and improper supervision of a minor. Rudolph was booked, processed, and transported to the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Dominick Sheldon, 33, of Samuel St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 17, 2023, at 2:30 AM, on the charges of speeding and operating a vehicle while suspended. Sheldon was booked, processed, and released to appear in Third Ward City Court.
Jordan McDaniel, 29, of Cypress St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 17, 2023, at 2:58 AM, on the charges of possession of schedule I narcotics (marijuana), possession of schedule II narcotics (cocaine), and driver must be licensed. McDaniel was additionally arrested on a warrant for probation violation. McDaniel was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Joseph Thomas, III, 62, of Myra St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 17, 2023, at 11:07 AM, on the charge of simple battery. Thomas was booked, processed, and held on a $2,000.00 bond.
Wibray Dauntain, 29, of Easy St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 18, 2023, at 1:26 AM, on a warrant for Berwick Police Department for theft. Dauntain was booked, processed, and transported to the Berwick Police Department.
Gajan Reed, 37, of Ash St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 18, 2023, at 6:51 PM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of battery of a dating partner. Reed was booked, processed, and held on a $568.00 bond.
Dereke Guilbeau, 26, of Hamm St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 18, 2023, at 7:50 PM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of reckless operation of an off-road vehicle. Guilbeau was additionally arrested on the charge of illegal carrying of a weapon. Guilbeau was booked, processed, and released on a $1,313.00 bond.
