The Franklin Police Department responded to 17 complaints over the past holiday weekend and made the following arrests:
Jenny Robin, 37, of Cynthia St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 26, 2023, at 9:40 PM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of vicious animals and dogs prohibited. Robin was booked, processed, and released on a $558.00 bond.
Joshua Norris, 31, of Verdun Ln., Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 27, 2023, at 5:05 AM, on the charge of reckless operation of a vehicle, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, and disturbing the peace by language. Norris was booked, processed, and released on a $7,500.00 bond.
Keindra McDaniel, 36, of Bayouview Dr., Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 27, 2023, at 10:40 PM, on a warrant dated May 4, 2023, for theft. McDaniel was booked, processed, and released on a $1,500.00 bond.
Shawn Jenkins, 46, of Morris St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 29, 2023, at 2:24 AM, on the charge of unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. Jenkins was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
