The Franklin Police Department responded to 21 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Javell Jack, 30, of Main St., Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on February 24, 2023, at 11:45 AM, on a warrant dated November 14, 2019, for simple criminal damage to property. Jack was booked, processed, and released on a $1,000.00 bond.
Milton Green, 36, of Willow St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on February 24, 2023, at 2:41 PM, on the charges of simple battery, remaining where forbidden, and resisting an officer. Green was booked, processed, and held on a $5,000.00 bond.
Charlie Scott, 60, of Franklin, LA, was arrested on February 24, 2023, at 5:00 PM, on the charge of obscenity. Scott was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Michell Fernandez, 41, of Gum Point Ln., Franklin, LA, was arrested on February 24, 2023, at 10:59 PM, on a warrant for disturbing the peace and simple battery. Fernandez was booked, processed, and released on a $3,500.00 bond.
Trivany Layton, 38, of Augustine Maze St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on February 24, 2023, at 10:59 PM, on a warrant for disturbing the peace and simple battery. Layton was booked, processed, and released on a $3,500.00 bond.
Kanesha Parker, 39, of Eighth St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on February 24, 2023, at 10:59 PM, on a warrant for disturbing the peace and simple battery. Parker was booked, processed, and released on a $3,500.00 bond.
Alvontre Griffin, 22, of Sterling Rd., Franklin, LA, was arrested on February 25, 2023, at 11:13 PM, on the charges of cruelty to the infirmed and simple robbery. Griffin was booked, processed, and held on a $35,000.00 bond.
Joseph Williams, 62, of Eighth St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on February 26, 2023, at 1:56 PM, on the charge of domestic abuse battery. Williams was booked, processed, and released on a $20,000.00 bond.
