The Franklin Police Department responded to 28 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Alonia Shearron, 53, of Plantation Teche Dr., Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 19, 2021, at 10:42 PM, on the charge of simple battery. Shearron was additionally arrested on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of issuing worthless checks. Shearron was booked, processed, and released on a $3,000.00 bond.
Tyrone Jackson, 37, of Romero Ln., Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on November 21, 2021, at 1:24 PM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace by intoxication. Jackson was booked, processed, and released on a $418.00 bond.
