The Franklin Police Department responded to 34 complaints over the past holiday weekend and made the following arrests:
Shenique Jones, 39, of Mitchell St., Franklin, LA, was arrested on January 1, 2022, at 1:00 AM, on the charge of simple battery. Jones was booked, processed, and released on a $2,500.00 bond.
Jessica Trahan, 36, of Santa Clara St., New Iberia, LA, while incarcerated at the Franklin Police Department, was arrested on January 1, 2022, at 11:11 PM, on a warrant dated January 1, 2022, for theft. Trahan was booked, processed, and held on a $1,000.00 bond.
