The names of the two individuals found deceased near Coteau Rd. on 5/29/24 are identified as 49 y/o Amy Guillory and 50 y/o Herbert Guillory, both of new iberia.
ORIGINAL STORY:
On May 29, 2024, deputies with the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting in the 6000 block of Coteau Road. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a 49-year-old female with multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Her 50-year-old husband was later found deceased in a nearby field off Coteau Road with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
This case appears to be a domestic-related incident. The investigation is ongoing, and no further details are available at this time.
