Louisiana State Police has released the detour route for motorists traveling on Highway 90 eastbound in the Bayou L’Ourse area. Highway 90 eastbound is currently closed from Amelia to Highway 662 due to an accident involving a vehicle that went over the railing on the elevated portion of the highway. The eastbound lanes are expected to be closed for several hours as tow trucks recover the vehicle.
