Iberia Parish, LA – On Tuesday, January 13, 2025, the Iberia Parish Jail Investigations Unit launched a contraband investigation following the discovery of a cell phone in the facility.
During the course of the investigation, information was obtained indicating Corrections Officer Brittney Davis had been in contact with an inmate regarding the introduction of contraband into the jail. Additionally, she was aware of contraband already present within the facility and failed to report it.
As a result, Brittney Davis was arrested and booked into the St. Martin Parish Jail on the following charge:
• LA RS 14:134 – Malfeasance in Office
Bond has been set at $25,000.
