Berwick, La. — The Berwick Police Department is once again spreading Christmas cheer through its annual holiday gift drive, collecting new, unwrapped presents to help local families in need during the Christmas season.

Officials remind the community that the deadline to drop off gifts is December 17th, allowing the department’s volunteer “elves” enough time to sort, prepare, and deliver the items to deserving children before Christmas Day.

Residents wishing to bless a family still have time to participate. Donations may be delivered to any of the following locations:

Berwick Police Department

Town Hall

Dollar General in Berwick

Cypress Lake R.V. Resort

According to the department, the generosity of the community plays a vital role each year in ensuring that children in our local area have the opportunity to experience the joy and magic of Christmas.

On behalf of Chief J.P. Henry, Assistant Chief Quentin Menard, and the entire staff of the Berwick Police Department, officials extend a heartfelt thank you to all who continue to support the program.

“Because of your kindness, children in our community will have the chance to smile this Christmas season,” the department said.

God Bless and Merry Christmas.
