The Berwick Police Department said they arrested a 14-year-old after receiving a call from a parent about a battery on a school bus after school on Thursday. According to a department report, video evidence was obtained where the juvenile was identified. Warrants were issued for his arrest, and the juvenile was apprehended on Friday and placed under arrest for simple battery. The minor was released to a guardian pending a court appearance.

On April 28, 2023 at approximately 2:59 PM a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle after it was observed nearly causing a crash due to lane violations. Officers made contact with Gant where it was learned he had an active warrant through the St. Mary Parish Sheriffs Office. Gant was placed under arrest. During a search of his person Methamphetamine and Alprazolam pills were located. At the time of the stop, a juvenile was present. Gant was transported to the Berwick Police Department where he was booked on the above charges.

On April 28, 2023 at approximately 9:05 PM the Berwick Police Department received a call of a robbery that took place at a local park. The caller stated that a juvenile arrived at her home saying she was beat up by a group of subjects who took her belongings and left the area. Officers responded and after speaking with witnesses, were able to determine that the victim knew the suspects and was able to give a description of the vehicle. A short time later, officers located the suspect vehicle and a traffic stop was conducted. During this time, two juveniles were present and evidence linking them to the crime were obtained. Both were placed under arrest and transported to the Berwick Police Department. During this time, it was further learned that the two juveniles were directly involved in the incident. Following the booking process, they were released to guardians pending a court hearing.

On April 30, 2023 at approximately 3:52 PM the Berwick Police Department received a call of a two-vehicle crash on US Hwy. 90. Officers responded and made contact with Guillory. While speaking with Guillory a strong odor of Marijuana was detected coming from his vehicle. A search was conducted at which time Methamphetamine, Marijuana, and items of Drug Paraphernalia were located. Guillory was placed under arrest and transported to the Berwick Police Department where he was booked on the charges of Possession of Schedule II CDS Methamphetamine, Possession of Schedule I CDS Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Careless Operation of a Motor Vehicle with a Crash.
Edward Farbe W/M 38 Winnsboro Dr. Denham Springs was arrested on May 1, 2023 at 12:30 AM for

On May 1, 2023 at approximately 12:24 AM the Berwick Police Department received a complaint of a reckless driver in the area of US Hwy. 90. Officers responded and located the vehicle in question. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with Farbe. While speaking with Farbe he showed several signs of impairment. SFST tests were conducted at which time he performed poorly on. Farbe was placed under arrest and transported to the Berwick Police Department where he submitted a valid breath sample of 0.213 G% BAC. Farbe was booked on the charges of Driving While Intoxicated 2nd Offense, Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle, No Insurance.
