Bayou Bend Health System Announces Construction Project

Bayou Bend Health System is excited to announce a new hospital construction project that will expand services and create a more customer-friendly experience.

As Bayou Bend prepares for construction, the hospital asks that anyone who enters or exits the hospital property via the Emergency Room driveway at Chatsworth Road be aware of potential safety hazards when driving through the Emergency Room area.

Preparation for construction began on Thursday, February 22, 2024, with fencing being placed around the lot between the Emergency Room entrance and the driveway at Chatsworth Road. The fenced location will soon house the contractor’s trailer, construction equipment, and storage containers. This will cause a significant blind spot for anyone using this driveway.

Additionally, ambulances and other emergency vehicles will not be able to park beneath the overhang at the Emergency Room entrance and may be stopped or parked in the driveway or parking lot. Bayou Bend asks that all drivers proceed with caution throughout the Emergency Room area.
