Audrey Ann Bodin Minor, 85, passed away surrounded by family on Friday, July 5, 2024.

Audrey was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. Audrey was an amazing grandmother who was instrumental in molding her two grandchildren into responsible, productive people. She was always there for them and she was very proud of them. When she could no longer live on her own, her grandchildren, Jamie and Haley, and Jamie’s wife, Donna, devoted themselves to making sure she was comfortable until the end.

She was an avid reader who enjoyed cooking and spending time with her husband of 59 years, the late former Baldwin Police Chief Gerald Minor. For several years, she was a member of the Franklin Line Dancers, which she truly enjoyed. Audrey also enjoyed listening to country music, especially her favorite George Strait, word puzzles and playing cards with friends.

Those she leaves to cherish her memory are her son, Drew Minor; her grandson, Jamie Minor and his wife, Donna; her granddaughter, Haley Minor and her companion, Jon Judice; her great granddaughters, Isabella and Addilynn Minor; her brother, Michael Bodin; her sisters-in-law, Sue Bodin, Mickey Bodin and her husband Karl, Vel Minor and Sarahbelle Minor; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, Edward and Emily Bodin; her brothers, Olan Bodin, Edward Bodin Jr. and Howard Bodin; her sister-in-law and best friend, Elodie Bodin and her brothers-in-law, Billy Ray and Neil Minor.

A graveside memorial service will be held Friday, July 12, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church Cemetery in Baldwin, where she will be laid to rest with her husband. Deacon Gerald Bourg will officiate the service.
