Aucoin Sworn in As St. Mary Parish Clerk of Court

Gregory P. Aucoin was sworn in as St. Mary Parish Clerk of Court and will begin his term of office effective July 1, 2024.
He succeeds longtime Clerk of Court, Cliff Dressel
who retired after serving 59 years of service as St. Mary Parish Clerk and Chief Deputy Clerk.

Aucoin said he is committed to carrying on the traditions of excellence and professionalism long established by Dressel and his Chief Deputy Clerk, Jane C. Pilant.

Mr. Aucoin has chosen Michelle A. Bourque of Franklin to serve as his Chief Deputy Clerk. Ms. Bourque brings 31 years of experience to her new role as Chief Deputy. Department heads will be Stephanie Derouen, Recording Department; Becky Haydel, Civil Department; Stacey M. Colbert, Minute Department
