AT&T Wireless Outage Affecting Customers Locally and Nationwide, Some Other Carriers Also Affected

AT&T wireless customers in the KQKI listening area and across the country are waking up Thursday morning to limited or no service. While the major outage is affecting mostly AT&T customers, other networks including T-Mobile and Verizon are also experiencing outages.

According to Downdetector, AT&T customers began reporting outages at approximately 2:30 am CST.  AT&T said they are working urgently to restore service and is encouraging their wireless customers to use the “Calling over WiFi” feature, if possible.
