Amanda Ann Collins, a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Duncanville, TX passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas, TX.
Amanda’s Visitation will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023 at Greater Liberty Baptist Church, 1230 Desire Street, New Orleans, LA, from 9:00 AM until Celebration of Life at 10:00 AM. Burial in McDonoughville Cemetery, 520 Hancock St., Gretna, LA. Officiating, Dr. Calvin W. Woods, Jr.
She leaves to remember and cherish her memories; two children, Amelia A. Collins of Duncanville, TX., and Ahmad G. Collins of New Orleans, LA., a daughter-in-law; three grandsons, a granddaughter, two sisters, Amelia Johnson and Lynette J. Joseph both of New Orleans, LA; a godchild, a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews of Morgan City, cousins and friends.
Amanda was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and a sister.
