Aline Rita Adams, a native of Lockport, LA. and a resident of Morgan City, LA., died peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at the age of 95.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024,from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, with a Funeral Mass being held for Aline at 11:00 AM all at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Morgan City, LA. Graveside service will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery with Father Patrick Riviere presiding over services.
Aline is survived by a son, Allie W. Adams, III and his wife, Shelly; a daughter, Allison Duffy and her husband, Robert; and five grandchildren, Allie Adams, IV (Ashton), Dr. Austin Adams (Elizabeth), Alaina Dozar (Grant), Bennett Duffy and Quinlan Duffy; six great grandchildren, Mary Austin, Jules and Libby Adams, Griffin, Molly and Charles Dozar; and two sisters, Elma Braus and Jane Vaccarella of Bayou Vista.
Aline was preceded in death by her husband, Allie Adams Jr., her parents, five brothers and sisters, and her great granddaughter, Arden Adams.
Based on her love of Holy Cross Catholic Church and the children of Central Catholic School, the family requests any donations in Aline’s memory be directed to these wonderful organizations.
