Additional Arrests Made in November Homicide Case by Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office

In a recent development, Sheriff Tommy Romero announced further arrests in the homicide of 36-year-old Kameran Bedsole on November 13, 2023. Houston Police Department detectives, acting on a warrant from the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office, apprehended a 15-year-old male juvenile, formerly an Iberia Parish resident, on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. The young suspect faces 1st Degree Murder charges.

Authorities transported the juvenile to Jackson Parish Juvenile Detention Center. In addition, 40-year-old Sabrina Washington, the mother of both juvenile suspects, was also arrested on December 5. She faces two counts of Accessory After the Fact and is currently held in Iberia Parish Jail with a bond set at $400,000.
