To help ensure a safe and enjoyable Mardi Gras celebration for all attendees, the Town of Baldwin has announced the following regulations that will be strictly enforced along the parade route:
- Glass containers are strictly prohibited.
- Only clear bags or clear backpacks will be permitted.
- Animals are not allowed, except for certified service animals as defined by law.
- Driveways and roadways must remain clear and unobstructed at all times.
- Open alcoholic beverages are allowed only beginning one hour before the parade and ending one hour after the parade concludes.
- Music containing provocative, explicit, or offensive content is prohibited.
- Block parties are not permitted.
- There will be zero tolerance for disturbances or disruptive behavior.
Roadways will reopen immediately following the conclusion of the parade. All local and state laws will be fully enforced. Vehicles parked or operating in violation of regulations are subject to towing at the owner’s expense.
Any arrests made in connection with parade activities will carry an automatic $1,000 bond, as set by the District Judge.
