Ochsner St. Mary recently hosted the Safe Sitter program for students in grades six through eight who babysit, watch younger siblings or spend time home alone. Students learn safety and life-saving skills like how to respond to someone choking and helpful information like what to do during severe weather. Ochsner congratulated all the students who took part.
