Morgan City Fall Drug Take Back Event Announced

As the season shifts to cooler fall temperatures, it’s the perfect time to clear out any expired or unused prescription medications from our homes. The Morgan City Police Department, headed by Chief Chad M. Adams, is teaming up with the DEA for their annual Drug Take Back event. Taking place on Saturday, October 28th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., residents can dispose of unwanted prescriptions at Spitale’s Pharmacy located at 1200 N. Victor II Blvd. in Morgan City.

Additionally, the Morgan City Police Department offers a year-round medication disposal site at 723 Myrtle Street for those who cannot attend the event.
