The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested James Vincent Howell II, 18, of Bayou Vista, LA, on June 6, 2023, at 11:04 pm for burglary-simple and possession of stolen things.
Detectives were working on a vehicle burglary case that occurred on June 5, 2023, in the Bayou Vista area when they obtained evidence that led to obtaining a search warrant for Howell’s residence. Upon executing the search warrant, stolen property was located.
As the investigation progressed, Howell was linked to other burglaries in the Patterson area as well. Howell was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. Bail has been set at $205,000.
