St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 40 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Blair Chauvin, 33, Chalmette, LA, was arrested on November 9, 2021, at 5:27 pm for possession of drug paraphernalia. Chauvin was released on a summons to appear on February 3, 2022.
Jody Ray Cubbedge Jr., 45, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on November 10, 2021, at 12:34 am on the following charges:
- Turning movements and required signals
- Driving under suspension
- No insurance
- Possession of methamphetamines
Bail has not been set.
