The Franklin Police Department responded to 23 complaints over the past weekend and made the following arrests:
Tina Charpentier, 41, of Freeman Rd., New Iberia, LA, was arrested on April 11, 2021, at 9:09 PM, on the charge of unauthorized use of a movable. Charpentier was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Anastasia Shearron, 31, of Carl C. Foulcard Dr., Franklin, LA, was arrested on April 12, 2021, at 1:59 AM, on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of misuse of temporary license plate, no insurance, and driver must be licensed. Shearron was booked, processed, and released on a $400.00 bond.
