HOUMA, La. — Officers with the Houma Police Department responded to a reported shooting around 9:00 p.m. on February 19, 2026, in the 200 block of Stovall Street.
Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, identified as Kavon Henry, 18, of Houma, was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his injuries.
Detectives are actively investigating the incident. Authorities say the case remains in its early stages, and additional details may be released as the investigation progresses.
