𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭

On the evening of March 7th, officers with the Morgan City Police Department responded to the area of Hwy 182 regarding a fight. Officers arrived when they learned that a victim potentially stabbed during the altercation. The victim was immediately transported to a local medical facility where they were treated for injuries.

During the investigation, Anthony Javonte Harris was developed as a suspect in the altercation. It was learned that Harris fled the scene. A warrant for Aggravated Battery was obtained for Harris’s arrest. 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐉𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐬 is described as a 𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞, 𝟓’𝟒 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟏𝟑𝟎 𝐥𝐛𝐬.
