Victim Airlifted after Sustaining Burns in Amelia Vehicle Fire

One person was injured as a result of a Monday afternoon vehicle fire in Amelia. Although details are limited at this time, including the exact location, the victim was transported via Acadian Air Med to an out of town hospital for burns sustained in the fire. We can also confirm that a landing zone was setup on Joel Street for the helicopter to land. The victim’s condition is also not available at this time.
