St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Searching for Persons of Interest in Bayou Vista Theft Investigation

Sheriff Blaise Smith and the Patrol Section of the SMPSO is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two men who are persons of interest in a theft that occurred at a local business in Bayou Vista.

On November 16, 2020, deputies responded to a complaint from a local business. Upon arrival, the deputies spoke with business personnel who stated that two suspects gained entry to a display case on November 15, 2020, and stole merchandise.

The suspects hid the merchandise under their clothing and exited the business.
