St. Mary Parish School Board Delays The Opening Of Schools until August 10th

In a special meeting held today in Centerville, the St. Mary Parish School Board voted to delay the opening of the 2020-2021 school year to August 10, 2020. Originally scheduled to begin on August 7, Superintendent of St. Mary Parish Schools, Dr. Teresa Bagwell asked for the delay to better prepare teachers as they head back to school.
