St. Mary Parish President Confirms Second Case of Coronavirus in Parish

St. Mary Parish President David Hanagriff has announced that the parish has received notification of its second positive case of COVID-19.  An Emergency Declaration has been signed today as another step to allow St. Mary Parish to receive the resources needed to combat the situation.
Hanagriff said, “I am asking the citizens of St. Mary Parish to continue to adhere to the guidance set forth by our Governor’s “Stay-at-Home” order and to continue to practice social distancing and self-monitoring yourself and family for symptoms of COVID-19″.  I urge the public to stay calm and stay diligent in your efforts to fight the spread of COVID-19. We will get through this together”.
The first case of COVID-19 was announced on Saturday.
