St. Mary Parish Mask Distribution Sites

City of Patterson distribution of FREE face masks donated by Hanes.
Beginning at 10 am on Friday, April 24th, FREE packs of cloth face masks will be distributed to Patterson residents only until depleted. Citizens are asked to drive up to City Hall and follow the directions of the city worker & Patterson Police Department stationed in the parking lot. One pack (5 per pack) per vehicle.  Mayor Rodney Grogan is asking that there are no multiple families in a vehicle. Also, DO NOT get out of your vehicle. Masks will also be made available for walk-ins PAYING utility bills or taxes inside at City Hall at 10 am.
Town of Berwick
Due to several vehicles already waiting in line, the police department has begun distributing masks just after 8:00 am this morning and will continue to distribute them until they are gone.
Berwick Police officers are setup directly in front of City Hall on Third St. distributing the masks. They are asking that everyone stay in their vehicles and pull up to the blue tent where they will be given their masks. They have begun handing out masks this morning and will continue until they run out.
City of Morgan City
Masks will be distributed On Friday beginning at 10 am under the police tent in the parking lot of the Morgan City Auditorium. Packs of five masks each will be distributed to Morgan City residents only while supplies last. Drive-through only.
Unincorporated Areas of St. Mary Parish:
On Friday, April 24, at 8:00 am-Noon (or while supplies last at each location) our deputies will be stationed at the locations listed below to hand out washable/reusable masks for the public.
Keep in mind, the municipalities also have been given masks for their cities. These masks are for those living in the unincorporated areas listed below. Citizens are advised to go to the location that is in your community area. If you live in a city, refer to their plan as to when and where their distribution will take place for your masks.
The five locations for distribution will be:
Amelia Fire Department
Bayou Vista Fire Department
Centerville Fire Department
Four Corners Fire Department. Jud Hall at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church
Siracusaville Recreation Center
Citizens are asked to simply drive up, stay in your vehicle, and the deputy will give you a package of 5 masks. One package per vehicle will be distributed. The deputies will be at the locations starting at 8 am and will be there until noon, or while supplies last.
These masks have been divided up and disseminated by David Naquin and the employees of the Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness to the municipalities and to the SMPSO to be distributed in their respective areas. Sheriff Smith thanks them for their hand in this Mask Distribution.
