St. Mary Arrest Report 8-26-2020
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 21 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Juvenile Male, 15, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on August 25, 2020, at 2:55 pm for runaway juvenile. The juvenile was released into the custody of a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
Tony Paul Hale, 42, 2121 Becnel Street, Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 25, 2020, at 11:51 pm for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hale was released on a summons to appear on November 2, 2020.
Juvenile Male, 17, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on August 25, 2020, at 10:59 pm for runaway juvenile and resisting arrest or officer. The juvenile was released into the custody of a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
NARCOTICS SECTION
Jose Ruiz, 28, 3221 Karen Drive, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 25, 2020, at 7:30 pm for on the following charges:
- possession of schedule II (cocaine) with intent to distribute
- possession of drug paraphernalia
- possession of a firearm in the presence of CDS
- transactions involving drug proceeds
No bail has been set.
