St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office Closing Offices To The General Public Beginning Monday, March 23, 2020 Until Further Notice

As Sheriff of St. Martin Parish, public safety is my number one priority.  In consideration of the ongoing public health emergency due to COVID-19, the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office will close its offices to the public and suspend routine, in-person services beginning Monday, March 23, until further notice. Business services will be available to the public over the phone during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m. and online at www.stmartinsheriff.org. Deputies will continue to perform regular patrols and criminal operations. 


Payment for property taxes, traffic tickets, and inmate fund deposits by money order or cashier check will continue to be accepted via U.S. mail.  Credit card payments can also be made via links and toll free numbers available on our website at www.stmartinparish.org   For any questions concerning Business Office services, please call 337-394-2531


The parish prison is also closed to the public. Only attorney visits will be allowed.  Bonds can be made at the front gate. Call 337-394-2500 with questions relating to prison services.

For all other non-emergent matters, call 337-394-3071


For all emergencies dial 911.
