SMPSO Looking For A Man Involved in an Incident at a Local Business

.On Saturday, August 29, 2020, at approximately 9:46 am, an employee at a local business in Amelia called the SMPSO and reported an incident involving the man in the photo.

When the man was leaving the business, the shoplifting alarm went off. When the employee spoke to the man concerning the alarm, he became upset. The employee took this photo of the man before he attempted to slap the phone out of the employee’s hand. The man struck the employee’s hand with force in the attempt.

The man is approximately 5’8″, 150 pounds, and was wearing a mask over his face and a backpack. He also had on shorts and a t-shirt with the “Ferrari” logo on the front.
