Shooting in Jeanerette, 38 Year Old Female Charged With Attempted Murder

According to the Jeanerette Police Department, on March 15,2020 at approximately 8:30 pm,  officers with the Jeanerette Police Department responded to a shooting at 647 canal street where a male subject sustained a single gunshot wound.
During the investigation, 38 year old Brandi Jones was identified as the suspect.
Brandi was placed under arrest for attempted second degree murder and booked into the Iberia Parish Jail.
