Sheriff Blaise Smith believes that drugs on our streets and in our communities is a problem

Sheriff Smith has taken action over the past year to get as many drugs off the streets of St. Mary Parish as possible. He and the deputies of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office are committed to continuing to make efforts to take drugs off the streets, and they are totally aware of what it takes.
“People don’t realize it fully, but its an ongoing, never-ending job,” stated Sheriff Smith. “It’s one that we take seriously. It takes a 24/7 effort to help make St. Mary Parish a better and safer place to live.”
