Self-Fill Sandbag Sites Open In Assumption Parish

In preparation for potentially heavy rains in upcoming days associated with Tropical Storm Cristobal, the Police Jury has sand and sandbags now available at the following locations. These are self-fill sites. Please bring your own shovel.
Sand and sand bags (self-fill) are available for Assumption Parish residents at the following locations:
Bayou Tranquille, Belle River
Belle River Ballpark
Veterans Park, 2862 LA-70 South, Pierre Part
LA-70 @ First Street, Pierre Part
Dorseyville Park, 283 Daggs Street, Belle Rose
American Legion, 310 Brusle Road, Labadieville
Bayou Crab (LA-400) @ LA-401 (Canal Road)
Lower Texas Boat Launch, LA-1012, Supreme.
