Second COVID-19 Death Reported in St. Mary Parish

The Louisiana Department of Health & Hospitals is reporting a second COVID-19 related death in St. Mary Parish. The death was reported on Saturday as cases have risen to 105 in the parish. St. Mary Parish Coroner Dr. Eric Melancon said the female patient died at Ochsner St. Mary and was reportedly a resident of Morgan City. Assumption Parish is reporting 109 cases.
