RICOHOC MAN SENTENCED TO THIRTY-TWO YEARS AT HARD LABOR

On Wednesday, September 9th in Franklin, the Honorable Judge Curtis Sigur sentenced Donald Eugene Hull, Jr., date of birth 07/22/1965, of Ricohoc, to thirty-two years at hard labor for the October 6, 2017, killing of Celina Lipari Hull. Hull was found guilty by a jury of Manslaughter on December 20, 2019. The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Brady Holtzclaw.

The investigation began on October 6, 2017, when authorities were called to 1706 West Ibert Street, Apt. B, in Franklin, Louisiana to a subject with injuries and a potential fire.  Upon arrival, authorities found the victim lying on the floor of the residence, dead, with a large laceration to her neck.  After a lengthy investigation by multiple agencies, including DNA analysis by the State Police Crime Lab, Donald Eugene Hull, Jr., the only other occupant of the apartment where the victim’s body was located, was arrested on March 9, 2018.
