Update: Patterson Police Chief Garrett Grogan has confirmed with KQKI News that Donte Harris was captured Friday evening.

Patterson Police Chief Garret Grogan has confirmed with KQKI News that his officers are currently searching for an escaped inmate.  Grogan says 25 year old Donte Javon Harris escaped the Patterson Police Department jail at approximately 12:45 p.m. on Friday.  Harris is a black male and is approximately 5′ 6″ in height and weighs 135 pounds. Harris was wearing a black shirt with a white print on the back and gray sweat pants.
Harris was incarcerated on the charges of carnal knowledge of a juvenile, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, possession of marijuana, possession of synthetic cannabinoids, resisting arrest, resisting an officer, obstruction of justice with tampering and introduction of synthetic cannabinoids into a penal facility.
